L-R, me, Liubov, Lana (former students). Liubov, silly as ever, got married early this year and 3 weeks ago gave birth to a healthy boy! Being the ever protective mother, Liubov had her mother walk around outside of the restaurant holding the baby while she visited with us inside. Why? Because of cigarette smoke inside! Lana recently took a job in Volgograd working for the police department as a Russian-Chinese interpreter...and she also speaks near perfect English. Smart girl.

Lucy, our dear friend and sister in Christ from the church. She took Rick and David on a tour of a museum today. John, Julie, Rachael, and I went to a (WW II) memorial in Volgograd. Lucy speaks perfect English. We will worship together with this sweet lady tomorrow morning.
